Trump Criticizes Pro-Palestinian Candidate
(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump on Wednesday launched a verbal attack against Zohran Mamdani, a prominent advocate for Palestine, labeling him a "Communist Lunatic" following Mamdani’s apparent win in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary on Tuesday evening.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared, “It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line. Zohran Mamdani, a 100 percent Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor."
He further stated, "We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous," criticizing Mamdani’s appearance, voice, and intellect, saying, “He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart.”
The president continued his tirade by asserting, “He’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him," also mocking Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer by calling him “our Great Palestinian Senator,” and claiming, “‘Cryin’ Chuck Schumer is groveling over” Mamdani.
Trump emphasized the significance of the moment, stating it marked "a big moment" in American history.
In a follow-up message, he offered a sarcastic proposal to the Democratic Party: "After years of being left out in the cold, including suffering one of the Greatest Losses in History, the 2024 Presidential Election, the Democrats should nominate Low IQ Candidate, Jasmine Crockett, for President, and AOC+3 should be, respectively, Vice President, and three High Level Members of the Cabinet – Added together with our future Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, and our Country is really SCREWED!"
The remarks, filled with ridicule and political jabs, reflect ongoing tensions between the Republican and Democratic camps as the nation looks ahead to its next leadership decisions.
